Been working away in the studio on the new record with Steve Scully. My good friend Jeremy Dryden got me kick started on it earlier this year.
We went in with the band and recorded 6 songs live in one day and later I recorded two songs solo (ish). The players so far are Andrea Gaudette on piano, Damon Leibert on fiddle, Jeremy Dryden on bass, Steve Scully on the Drums and Jimmy Ryan on mandolin. In total there are 8 songs done and we are gonna record a few more.

There is also a very special guest that has made an apperance on the record, on a song called 'Rock n Roll'. Liam O'Maonlai from the Hothouse Flowers sings backing vocals and plays a touch of bodhran on this one. We played some solo shows earlier this year together and hung out for a few days. The last day we slipped into Steve Scully's studio Yellowsound to record the vocals for this song. Nice!

Tonight Paddy kicks off his Thursday night residency at Sally O'Brien's in Union Square Somerville. The first two weeks he will do alone and then he will have a special solo feature guest, each week after that. Each solo featured guest will perform a half hour set in the middle of his set. CD RELEASE SELLS OUT

'The Busker' movie is finished.

There will be a screening December 2nd at 7pm at the Cyrus W. Irish Auditorium, 50 French Street Lowell, MA. General Admission $10.

Paddy's song 'Undone' has been selected for a Boston based Independent Film 'The Busker', which is scheduled for release at the 'Boston Irish Film Festival' later this year.

Liam O'Maonlai (frontman for the Hothouse Flowers) stars in the movie and the following Irish artists are on the soundtrack, Luka Bloom, The Walls along with The Hothouse Flowers.
